Fancy a Mac OS X clone that works on Windows Vista? While it doesn’t have as much features as the dock in Leopard, you’ll find RocketDock a really good piece of software plus it’s free!

I don’t agree with RocketDock being “the single greatest piece of software”, but I do like how it’s now easier to get to my frequently used programs. The animation is nice and smooth - the icon even goes “poof” when you delete it from RocketDock. You can choose different backgrounds (including a transparent one), set the position on your desktop, configure the zooming and lots more.

If there is one software that should be part of Windows Vista’s new Aero UI, this is it!
